Blogging is something that is truly 24/7, there’s no switching off from it. You live it and breathe it so you’d be forgiven if you felt as though you sometimes have to step away from the laptop and put down the phone. Although I’d occasionally love to take a break from blogging, I really can’t bring myself to do it. My phone is constantly in my hand and the urge to check notifications / stats / upload new posts is all too real. I’ve recently been using some apps which I find are super handy and helpful for when you’re trying to stay on top of your blogging while you’re supposed to be taking that well-deseved break.
Buffer makes it super easy for me to seem as though I’m organised when in fact I’m really not. I don’t like to make a point of scheduling my tweets but it comes in handy when I know I’ve got some busy days coming. Buffer also makes it super easy for me to make sure I’m posting across all my social channels and even enables me to link them all together. It’s perfect for stress-free updates!
Where would we be without Analytics? I love tracking my blog stats so being able to do this whilst I’m away from my laptop is great. It’s super convenient to be able to check it all wherever and whenever you need. You never know when you might have to let someone know your monthly unique visitors!
This is by far my favourite picture editing app. I use PS Express to edit all my photos, and they are all done so in the same way to help them fit together as a collective set of images. Sometime I’ll bulk edit a load of photos and save them so they’re ready to post at a later date. I really find that it’s the best and easiest photo editing app.
I know there’s a bit of shade around FaceTune. It’s one of those Marmite apps (you either love it or hate it). Personally I love this app, after all no one wants to see that ginormous spot on my cheek or those laughter lines that are a tad too deep, so yes. I do often blur some of the inperfections away. Don’t act so surprised, I owned up to everything in my Confessions of a Beauty and Lifestyle Blogger post!
So there we go – those are my favourite and most used apps for blogging. What are your favourite apps for blogging?
