Nude lipsticks are like an LBD for my face. They’re my go-to shade that never fail to look great for either a day or night-time look. Basically, if you haven’t already guessed, I love me some nudes. Take that however you like (you rude bunch!), but today, I’m talking about nude lipsticks. Charlotte Tilbury ones to be exact. Yes, I know her collection of nudes is somewhat endless, so if we were to talk about them all we really would be here all day. So today I’m sharing with you my three favourites;
Very Victoria – Bitch Perfect – Pillow Talk
As a whole I love Charlotte Tilbury products. Not only because her packaging is always super Instagrammable, but because the products are simply to die for. Each of these lipsticks are super pigmented and have a dreamy, soft and creamy formula (which is pretty tough for a matte lipstick). These lipsticks really appeal to my inner lazy-girl as they also require no lipliner. They are also so fuss-free I find myself being able to apply them without having to look in a mirror (pretty good for those busy mornings!) Of course, there are so many more shades than the three above, these are just my three favourites. All Charlotte Tilbury lipsticks fall into three lines:
The signature Kissing lipsticks consist of 11 shades which have been curated with both modern and classic beauty icons in mind. From Rich full bodied reds to an excellent compilation of nudes, there’s a lipstick (or two) for everyone. The rich, creamy texture coats your lips in dense-opaque, saturated colour that lasts for hours your lips leaving your lips looking cashmere soft and irresistible.
The Matte Revolution lipsticks comes in 12 shades and are described as ‘the matte lipsticks of the future’. The lipsticks in this range have a squared off, slanted tip. The aim is that it is shaped more like a ‘lip brush’ for more accurate application. To be completely honest with you, the Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution lipsticks are my favourite matte formula on the market. Simply because they are smooth and not at all drying. The lipsticks do have a slight vanilla flavour and scent which I personally find quite pleasant although I know some people don’t enjoy scented products. Just like all Charlotte Tilbury products, every lipstick in this range has a fun (and sometimes flirty) name – Who doesn’t love that?
The Hot Lips collection is the latest lipstick line from Charlotte Tilbury. Created in collaboration with 12 iconic women, there is something for everyone within this range. Each lipstick has light-diffusing pigments that give lips a brilliant, luminous, multi-dimensional finish – capturing light and reflecting it back out for a full-bodied effect. They are also ideal for a buildable, colour-rich luminous finish that doesn’t bleed outside the lip line.
